The Guest of Honour for the 14th Zimbabwe International Research Symposium will be His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde E.D Mnangagwa. His presence underscores the government's commitment to advancing research, innovation, and sustainable development across the nation.

International Key Note Speaker

The Key Note Speaker will be identified from one of the renowned International Research Institutions. The choice of the Speaker will be determined by the current or foreseen strategic organisational ties between RCZ and the international institution.

Plenary Sessions

Identified keynote speakers will deliver their speeches in breakaway sessions in key thematic areas. The relevant organising committee will approve the speakers and specific sessions.

Sponsorship Packages

Fostering and harnessing strategic partnerships between researchers and research result users.

Identifying critical research gaps from all sectors of the economy and prescribe solutions.

Mentorship opportunity for the young Researchers and early career scientists and researchers.

Opportunity for authors to have their papers published in the renowned ZIRS Book of Papers presented.

Targeted Audience for the 14th ZIRS

The 14th session of the ZIRS is open to policy makers, captains of industry and commerce, entrepreneurs, research results users, funders of research, Non-Governmental Organisations, researchers, media and students. International delegates will also be drawn from the relevant research bodies. In the previous editions, delegates were drawn from Botswana, Zambia, India, Namibia, South Africa, Ghana, Malawi, China and the United States of America.

The delegate fees covers conference teas and lunches, a welcome cocktail, Book of Abstracts, CD of the conference proceedings and conference giveaways. Early registrations will be opened by the 1st of January 2026 with registrations starting from the 1st of February 2026. Late registration will attract an additional $50.
