Research Council of Zimbabwe (RCZ) would like to extend its congratulations to RCZ Scholarship Recipient Ms Jean Tsitsi Chigova for graduating with a Master’s Degree in Chemical and Environmental Process.

RCZ in the pursuance of its mandate to award grants and fellowships in the promotion of research in the country accorded Jean Tsitsi Chigova a scholarship to complete her Master’s Degree in Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering. Jean responded to an open call for scholarship made by the Research Council of Zimbabwe in 2020. The 2020 cycle awarded grants for scholarships not only in Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering but also in Biostatistics, Food Science and Nutrition, Philosophy and in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture. After a competitive process Jean was awarded as one of the five recipients for the 2020 RCZ Scholarship cycle.

RCZ is committed to continuing to fund the improvement of Human Capital to reach the aspirations of the Vision 2030 and contribute to a prosperous and empowered upper middle income economy by 2030.

To qualify for RCZ Human Capital Development Scholarship one has to respond to the open call which come out every year in July. The RCZ processes are competitive and competent females are encouraged to apply.
