The Research Council of Zimbabwe (RCZ) is requesting for the submission of abstracts on research being carried out at your institution into the 2016 Zimbabwe Research Index (ZRI).
The ZRI is an annual publication of the RCZ to determine the amount of research conducted in Zimbabwe. The ZRI lists abstracts from all fields of scientific research pertaining to on-going and completed research from Zimbabwe. The aim of the index is to (i) have a composite record of research, (ii) promote collaboration and (iii) foster exchange of information within the research community.
The RCZ is a statutory body established in terms of the Research Act [Chapter 10:22]. It is mandated to promote, direct, supervise and coordinate research. In an effort to promote use of research results as well as coordination and collaboration among researchers, the RCZ is in the process of compiling the 2016 ZRI. Submissions show individual and institutional strength in scientific research.
Abstracts should be submitted in line with the guidelines by 30 August 2017 on email researchadmin@rcz.ac.zw. However, if your institution submitted entries for the 2014-2015 ZRI, you may update your previous submission.
