Preparations for the 11th  Zimbabwe International Research Symposium (ZIRS) are in progress with the event scheduled for February 2017. The first meeting of the Main Organising Committee (MOC) for the 11th ZIRS was held on 13 April 2016 at Cresta Oasis Hotel in Harare. The meeting deliberated on issues which include budget for the event, venue selection, call for abstracts among other issues.  Calls for abstracts, awards, sponsorship and exhibitions are expected to be published before end of  April 2016
