In its endeavour to promote research and publicise Zimbabwean research at a global scale, the RCZ created a research database that informs on research developments by Zimbabwean researchers within Zimbabwe and beyond its borders. The purpose of the database is to provide an integrated and comprehensive collection of data covering all public domain research in the country

PUBLICATIONS The RCZ, in its endeavour to promote research, produces a number of publications which inform on developments within Zimbabwe and beyond its borders.
1. Zimbabwe Research Index (annually).
This publication lists all research projects undertaken within Zimbabwe. It provides information for collaboration, fosters the exchange of information and facilitates improved communication among researcher.
Submission of entries into the Zimbabwe Research Index
2. Directory of Research Institutes and Professional Associations (triennially).
The directory gives profiles of all public and private research organisations and professional associations in Zimbabwe.
3. Proceedings of Symposia (biennially).
RCZ publishes proceedings of the symposia.

The Research Council of Zimbabwe (RCZ) is a statutory body established in terms of the Research Act of 1986. It is mandated to promote, direct, supervise and co-ordinate research.
